Realaudio / RealVideo files
You'll
be needing RealPlayer.
This is a free program, but the website may try and steer you in the direction
of the subscription one.
If
you've
got
an
older
version
of Realplayer you need at least version
8 to
play some of the files on this site.
Most Realaudio files should work with 56K modems or better, providing the modem connects at full speed, and the Internet's having a good day. HiFi isn't really HiFi - the Mp3 ones are much better, and the CDs are excellent :)
Flash Video
These need the Adobe Flash player (version 8 or above). Free download from
here.
Windows Media
These
require Windows Media Player 9 or above. Free download from here.
Note:
You can view the broadband ones on a dialup connection - press the stop button
when the page loads, wait for the player to download some of the video, then
press play.
Quicktime Videos
These need version 5 or above of Apple's quicktime player, which can be downloaded
for free from here. Note: You can view the broadband ones on a dialup connection - press the stop button when the page loads, wait for the player to download some of the video, then press play.
.mp3 files
To play these files I'd recommend Windows Media Player, which will stream the files in real time if your connection's fast enough, or WinAmp. You can download .mp3 files by right clicking at them (Option and clicking on a mac) and selecting "Save Target As...".
Yikes! Nothing works...
